Woah *---* well done, i think that some skins for the characters would be great, like gohan changing the clothes to super sayiaman one and the purple one, as you see in the fight against dabura and game also... Some little fighter mods are getting used to it now(Sonic Gather Battle, Naruto Shippuden New Age and a new one from tokyo ghoul that my friend will do). Think about it too, surely the fans will like it :D
I'm not doubting that it would be nice and awesome but the problem is that I would have to sprite those characters. Not only that but the guy that made Sonic Battle is a beast HEX editor. He changed the EXE so much that you can pick a character and then pick a skin. If I were to add skins they would take another slot in the character list. Already having the transformations take slots makes it take so long just to scroll through the list of characters.
Lol those "energy dots" are air bubbles. He was under water. When the balls came out of the water they were no longer there.
That is a energy ball dragging animation movement. I made it so the frame leaves a "trail" of where the ball was in the last frame. Kind of like the blurred fast punches where it leaves a visual trail of where the arm or leg was before. It was kind of like that in the anime but more like the ball turned ovaly as it was in motion like something was pulling on it, but you can't really tell from the gif I made. But yeah, you're right, I overemphasized it.

ReplyDeleteHow about adding some 'energy dots' that follow the ball as a trail? :) Would look original and it would be more like the original move also!
Also, I'd say the energy on his hand when he's shooting the 2nd ball looks a tad weird; not properly animated / too big
